Simply perfect location, great value and very sympathetic staff, marvellous service. The hotel was minute walk from the heart of Appleby-in-Westmorland. Luxury bathroom, retro, glamorous room. Daily bread, fresh fruit, bakery and meats for breakfast were outstanding! The plunge pool was a plus.

Well, the views were quite bad here.

Always pleasant people working here, cute place. Delicious breakfast, good service. A very peaceful stay with a lovely swimming pool. Location was relatively quiet, close to market hall.
